About Katy

Katy first landed in Hawaii in the summer of 2012. After graduating high school in Florida, she spent the first few years of adulthood chasing warm water and good waves. She fell in love with the simplicity of life in Mexico, and was determined to find that in the United States. After initially moving to the concrete jungle of Waikiki where she joyfully worked as a surf instructor, she was lucky to land an opportunity living and working on a 20 acre farm on the Hamakua coast of Hawaii Island. It was here that she finally discovered what she spent years of traveling to find, a lifestyle which is connected to the land, the water, and the cleanest air in the world. She has since made the Big Island her home, and takes pride in the opportunity to help others find their place on this very special island.
